Phulkari · ਫੁਲਕਾਰੀ
"Flower work" — Punjab's folk embroidery, once stitched in silk floss on khaddar by mothers for their daughters. We translate its geometry and colour onto heavyweight streetwear.
We study bagh phulkari's densities and diamond motifs and rebuild them as graphic panels — screen-printed and puff-embroidered on 280 GSM garment-dyed cotton.
Marigold, kesar, mehndi, chuni red — the palette of Punjabi weddings, reworked for daily streetwear.
