Punjabi Streetwear — Heritage Cut for the Street

Punjabi streetwear should not mean a stock blank with a slogan on it. BAAG treats Punjab's visual language — Gurmukhi type, the Khanda, phulkari geometry, the Sher — with the same care a luxury house gives its monogram, and puts it on garments built to international spec.

A Design Language, Not a Costume

Punjab has one of the richest visual vocabularies in South Asia: the double-edged Khanda with its chakkar, phulkari's dense floral geometry worked in silk floss on khaddar, the flowing counters of Gurmukhi script, wheat, the five rivers, the lion. Most of it has been reduced to novelty printing.

Our approach is editorial. One symbol per garment. Generous scale. Restrained palette. Nothing is stretched, outlined, or crowded with English text explaining what it means — if you know, you know, and if you do not, the journal explains it properly.

Built to Global Streetwear Standards

The reason Punjabi graphic tees have a reputation for being cheap is the blank underneath them. We start at 280 GSM combed ring-spun cotton, bio-washed and pre-shrunk, drop shoulder, taped neck, side-seamed — the same construction benchmark used by the streetwear labels people actually collect.

Print is water-based and plastisol-free where the artwork allows, cured properly so the hand feel stays soft and the ink does not crack across the chest after a season.

Made in Punjab, Worn Everywhere

BAAG is designed in Chandigarh and produced in India. That matters commercially — it keeps the supply chain short and the quantities honest — but it matters more culturally. The people drawing the Khanda grew up around it.

The diaspora is a large part of who wears this. A Punjabi tee in Toronto, Southall, Melbourne or Sangrur carries the same message: this is where I come from, and I am not softening it for anyone.

Where to Start

If you want the loudest statement, take the Sher. If you want something you will reach for weekly, take Chardi Kala in cream. If your connection to Punjab is the land itself, Mitti or Rooted in Land. Every piece ships from India with tracking, ₹89 flat within India and free above ₹3,000.

Shipping — Punjab to the Diaspora

Punjabi Streetwear ships from India with tracking on every order: ₹89 flat within India, free above ₹3,000, and worldwide delivery in 7–14 working days. A large part of what we make leaves the country — Punjabi hoodies to Canada, Sikh t-shirts to the UK, Punjabi streetwear to Australia, Punjabi clothing to Germany, and steady orders into the United States, UAE and Singapore.

Duties and local taxes are charged by the destination country and are not included in the price. Sizing runs S–XXL to the Indian chart on our size guide — diaspora customers used to UK or North American sizing should read it before ordering. Returns are accepted within seven days; the full terms are on the returns page.
